"I, the master of Oddiyana, the embodiment of all the Buddhas of the three times,
am indivisible from Samantabhadra,
the self-arisen primordial dharmakaya, who,

And the natural radiance of the sambhogakaya

E reduziu os yakshas pretos a pó.
Matador inigualável de demônios,

Com a mão direita, você segura a adaga de metal de sino, subjugando os maras e rakshas.

When binding the vow holders under oath,
At the beautiful and immaculate supreme place,
At the borderline between India and Tibet,
You bestowed your blessings, on the moment of arrival,
At the mountain endowed with enveloping fragrance. Even in winter time lotus flowers bloom
At this supreme and blissful place,
The Spring of Enlightenment with nectar-like water. Kyechok Tsulsang, dressed in the robes of the Dharma, Your right hand holds the nine pronged vajra
Your left holds a jewel casket Filled with rakta nectar. You bound under oath the dakinis and vow holders. Seeing the yidam face to face, you accomplished the siddhis.

When establishing the doctrine of the Victorious One, You performed sadhana in the forest of the Slate Mountain.
Throwing your recitation dagger into the sky’s expanse,
You caught it and rolled with your vajra mudra.
Rolling, you threw it into to the sandalwood forest,
The fire blazed and the lake dried up.
Instantly you burned away all the places of the tirthikas
And reduced the black yakshas to dust.
Matchless Slayer of Demons,

When you subjugate the rakshas,
Young boy in nirmanakaya attire,
Wondrous form of goodness with magnificent color, With even teeth and beautiful golden hair,
In the manner of a sixteen year old youth,
You wear various kinds of jewel ornaments.
With your right hand you hold the bell-metal dagger, Subjugating the maras and rakshas.
With your left you hold the teak dagger,
Protecting your devoted disciples.
Around the neck your wear the iron dagger,
Indivisible from the yidam deity.

At Jamtrin of Mangyul, You bestowed siddhis on the Four Monks.

You bound the twelve Tenma goddesses under oath.

You bound Thangla Yarshu under oath.
At the very summit of Hepori,
You bound all the devas and rakshas under oath.
Of all these great devas and demons,
Some offered the core of their life-force,
Some undertook guarding the teachings
And some pledged to be servants.
Mighty one with powers and miracles,
With your kindness, bestow your blessings upon me. With your affection, guide myself and others on the path.

And one was Lake-born Vajra.
Your secret name was Dorje Drakpo Tsal.

The is extracted from the External Practice in the Manner of Supplication included in the Sheldam Nyingjang of Lamey Thukdrup Barchey Kunsel that was discovered by the undisputed and timely incarnated great treasure revealer, Orgyen Chokgyur Dechen Lingpa, from beneath the foot of the Great Glorious One at Danyin Khala Rongo. May (repeating) this be a cause for utterly pacifying all hindrances and decline, for the buddhadharma as well as for beings, and a cause for completely fulfilling all wishes of self and others. Sarva mangalam!

This supplication is the blessed words spoken by Padmasambhava before departing from Tibet. It was revealed by Terchen Chokgyur Lingpa as part of the Guru Sadhana called Tukdrub Barchey Kunsel.

སྐྱབས་རྗེ་རྫོང་གསར་མཁྱེན་བརྩེ་མཆོག་ནས་སིདྡྷི་དུང་སྒྲུབ་ལ་གདམས་པ།-We as followers of Buddha Dharma, especially the practitioners of sacred Vajrayana; since the Yana being full of vast methods, has all these extensive Sadhanas (th path towards realization) of Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Gurus, Devas, and Dharmapalas.

Yet, today with us like those of you and like my-self, for many lifetimes, with the power of aspirations and karma, have this likening, faith, and devotion to the Guru Rinpoche and these are signs of our accumulations of merit in the past lifetimes, and we all should rejoice in that.
Today here with the on-going organising of the 100 million Vajra Guru Mantra recitations, especially in view of the global pandemic and crisis.

Just a wish that you wanted to initiate something like this has immense benefit and that is cent percent for sure. So, please you all keep that in mind!

You can think, meditate or supplicate Guru Rinpoche in whatever ways you want to. Sometimes you can visualize that he is in the space in-front of you, gazing at you and recite the mantra; sometimes imagine Guru Rinpoche above your crown and recite the mantra; sometimes you can imagine Guru Rinpoche at your throat level, especially when you are eating and drinking, and make recitations. Whatever we are eating or drinking, making it as a form of offering, if you think in that way then that is an unsurpassable method. Sometimes you can visualise Guru Rinpoche at your heart level and recite the Mantra and when you are sleeping at night, imagine Guru Rinpoche at your heart level and go to sleep. That itself is one of the meditations on luminosity. If you have received empowerment then you can imagine yourself as Guru Rinpoche and recite the Mantra and yes when you imagine Guru Rinpoche in the space in-front or above the crown, imagine receiving empowerment from Guru Rinpoche and recite the Mantra.

We have this mind, we are not wood or rock or lifeless things, we have mind, have confidence in Mind, which is Guru Rinpoche and recite the Vajra Guru Mantra. At the best, at all times, the mantra accumulation should not only be a wish for having a long life, free from illnesses, getting rich, or having success in businesses, etc. One should not have such narrow intentions. One should have the intention to lead all sentient beings towards Buddhahood, or wishing all beings to be free from the slumber of ignorance, and for that purpose one must recite the Vajra Guru Mantra and if one does that, then the benefit and the power of it is immense.

By the way, this is not something I have made up. The previous sublime Vidyādharas had again and again proclaimed that. So therefore, you all must have confidence in it.

It is not necessary to recite the Vajra Guru Mantra with a sitting cushion. One can recite while on the move, taking a stroll that is also permissible. Sometimes one can meditate single pointedly and recite the Vajra Guru Mantra and that is obvious of course. It’s very good but sometimes without any clear visualisations, while walking, sitting and moving, one can also recite the Vajra Guru Mantra in that way. It’s better to recite than to recite not at all.

So therefore, while watching TV, or idle gossiping, do not think that it’s un-beneficial, you can still recite the Vajra Guru Mantra.

At the best, as being said earlier, please do generate the mind of Bodhichitta and make the supplication to Guru Rinpoche while reciting the Mantra.

དུས་གསུམ་སངས་རྒྱས་གུ་རུ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ༔
dü sum sangye guru rinpoche
Embodiment of buddhas of past, present and future, Guru Rinpoche;

དངོས་གྲུབ་ཀུན་བདག་བདེ་བ་ཆེན་པོའི་ཞབས༔
ngödrub kün dak dewa chenpö shyab
Master of all siddhis, Guru of Great Bliss;

བར་ཆད་ཀུན་སེལ་བདུད་འདུལ་དྲག་པོ་རྩལ༔
barché kün sel düdul drakpo tsal
Dispeller of all obstacles, Wrathful Subjugator of Māras;

གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་བྱིན་གྱིས་བརླབ་ཏུ་གསོལ༔
solwa deb so jingyi lab tu sol
To you I pray: inspire me with your blessing,

So that outer, inner and secret obstacles are dispelled

And all my aspirations are spontaneously fulfilled.

Discovered by the great terma-revealer Chokgyur Dechen Lingpa, from the right-hand side of the Sengchen Namdrak rock on Mount Rinchen Tsekpa, ‘The Pile of Jewels’. Because the blessing of this prayer, one intended for this present time, is so immense, it should be treasured by all as their daily practice.
